Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is recovering from the holidays! It was low-key here, had to finish a drawing and my brother had deadlines at his job, so he had to cancel his visit. I am looking forward to going to Scottsdale for the Celebration of Fine Art in a couple of weeks. I am going to be posting more information about that soon and sending out an email detailing the schedule and things like that. It will be weird drawing in front of people, but its probably good to get out of my "comfort zone" a little and it will be a nice chance to finally meet clients that I have only met over the phone.

I just finished a new drawing last night and thought I would post it for all to see. There are a few glares from my lighting. This horse is named Gabe, he is a mustang and owned by Brenda Valetta (hope I spelled that right) The original is being sent to Altermann Galleries March auction. I'm not sure of a title yet, I may just call it "Gabe" for lack of anything creative. I love drawing big, wild manes, so this one was fun.
